Physical Therapy Education Solutions was created with the following goals:
- Develop the highest quality educational resources to help PT and PTA program faculty and students meet their goals
- Provide information for anyone interested in learning more about a career in or the profession of physical therapy
- Address current issues affecting the profession of physical therapy with a goal of raising awareness and fostering positive change

Our Founder
PTES was founded by Jon Waxham, a physical therapist with over 20 years of experience as a clinician, private practice owner and PTA program director and educator. His early career focus was on caring for his patients and expanding his clinical skills. His entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to help others led him to open his own physical therapy practice. After 11 successful years he sold it and moved on to a new role as a teacher. The transition into education provided him with the opportunity to develop a physical therapist assistant program from program conception through full accreditation. It was during this time that he discovered the lack of resources available to support education in physical therapy. This need for high quality educational resources as well as information about the profession was the impetus to start Physical Therapy Education Solutions.
